Dan began performing when he was just seven years old with a discarded magic set from his older brother. He soon discovered the joy of entertaining and using magic to teach and create stories.
As teachers, Dan and his wife Kim were looking for a way to share these stories with their kids, and so the Dan Dan the Magic Man summer reading programs were born. In 2004, we began with just 3 area libraries. Now, we load up the kids and travel to up to 35 libraries a year spreading the love of reading with magic. Have rabbit! Will travel!
