Free Gift Wrapping Station

Wellington Public Library will be having a “self service” gift wrapping station, set up, for people to come in & wrap their gifts, for the holidays…the library will provide a work space, Christmas wrap, bows & gift tags…there will be tape and scissors for them to use. Display Case: Dreamsicles!

The new display, for the month of December, is being shared with us by Sheila King. Sheila has been collecting Dreamsicles since 1991. Her collection began when a friend gave her one while she was sick and that started the whole ball rolling. Each piece has it’s own special theme…I’m sure everyone will enjoy this
Teddy Bear Workshop and Story Time

Join us for some holiday fun with a great story and snack; then make your very own gingerbread friend. Friday, December 21 at 10am and 5pm This event is open to kids of all ages. Sign up at the children’s desk by November 21. Cost is $10 per participant and is due at sign up.
Book Clubs for Youth

We have book clubs for school-age youth! Talk to a librarian at the children’s desk to sign up and check out the current book. Children Chapter Champs (Grades 1-3) – monthly on the 4th Tuesday from 4-5pm. Book Worms (Grades 3-4) – monthly on the 2nd Thursday from 5:30-6pm. Tween/Teen Page Pandas (Grades 5-7) –
2nd Saturday STEAM

Have fun with food this Saturday! Join us on Saturday, December 8 at 10am for our 2nd Saturday STEAM program. This is open for all children through 5th grade. (1st graders and younger must come with an adult.)
