On Display: Stamp Collection

Jennifer Newland is sharing her Stamp Collection with us for the month of February. She has been collecting stamps since the 1980’s and has quite a variety, as you will see, when you stop by the display case upstairs.  The library has a collection of  Standard Postage Stamp Catalogs which can be found in the
Book Clubs for Youth

We have book clubs for school-age youth! Talk to a librarian at the children’s desk to sign up and check out the current book. Children Chapter Champs (Grades 1-3) – monthly on the 4th Tuesday from 4-5pm. Book Worms (Grades 3-4) – monthly on the 2nd Thursday from 5:30-6pm. Tween/Teen Page Pandas (Grades 5-7) –
2nd Saturday STEAM

Join us on on the 2nd Saturday of each month for our STEAM program. This is open for all children through 5th grade. (1st graders and younger must come with an adult.)
Book Clubs for Adults

The Bookies Reading Group will read  The Lost Years, by Mary Higgins Clark. Next Meeting: Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 5:00pm   Books & Broads Book Club is reading I Am Malala by Malala Yousafzai.  This book clubmeets the last Monday of the month at 6:00pm. Contact the library to check out the current book.
1000 Books before Kindergarten

Read a book, any book! It’s not too late to reach 1,000! Sign up at the library to receive your first book log – return each log and watch your child move up our reading wall of fame and receive special stickers, color sheets, books and more! Story Time at the Library!

Come to the Library for Story Time! All children age 5 and under and their significant adults are welcome. Little Readers’ Story Time: Wednesday mornings at 10am – Join Ms. Chelsea for stories, music, crafts and more. Story Time is Family Time, so bring your little ones and join in the fun!
