Kansas Reads to Preschoolers is celebrated every November, and encourages the parents, caregivers, and librarians across the state to read the chosen book, Little Nita’s Big Idea by Anna W. Bardaus this year, with their preschoolers. This month celebrates the positive effect that reading and storytimes have on children’s development. A part of the State Library of Kansas selects a committee each year to choose a selection of books, and the final choice is done by the State Librarian. Here at the Wellington Public Library we have a copy on display as November’s Storywalk!
