Adult Winter Reading Challenge

Pick up a log sheet at the upstairs circulation desk for the Adult Winter Reading Challenge.  Write in the titles that you read during the first quarter of 2020.  When you complete the sheet, bring it in for a prize.
On Display: 3D Printing and Diamond Painting

This month our display features 3D creations and Diamond Painting by Judy Brady. She started 3D printing by wanting to build custom cabinets for a doll house. After successfully accomplishing that, she started to make other fun things, using white filament and then painting the finished piece. It can take hours or days to create

Join us for GameKnights on the third Saturday of the month, 1:30-3:30, at the Wellington Public Library! This is a special time for people to gather to play board games, just for fun,and it is  for people of all ages. Light snacks provided.

We have book clubs for school-age youth! Talk to a librarian at the children’s desk to sign up and check out the current book. Children Chapter Champs (Grades 1-3) – last Monday of the month at 4pm. Book Worms (Grades 4-5) – last Monday of the month at 5pm. Tween/Teen Page Piranhas (Grades 6-8) –
Book Clubs for Adults

The Bookies Book Club is reading Keep you Close by Karen Cleveland; an FBI thriller, just out in 2019.  Books are available for checkout at the upstairs circulation desk. Join us for our discussion on Tuesday,February 18, 5:00pm at the library. Books & Broads Book Club meets the last Monday of the month at 6:00pm.
1000 Books before Kindergarten

Read a book, any book! It’s not too late to reach 1,000! Sign up at the library to receive your first book log – return each log and watch your child move up our reading wall of fame and receive special stickers, color sheets, books and more! Information is available at the children’s library circulation

Sit N Stitch has changed evenings — it will begin Thursday,  Sept 5 and meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays at 5:30.  September 5th we will serve refreshments and have a drawing. Join us!  We are a small group who enjoy needle work  of all types (crochet, knitting, cross stitch, plastic canvas…etc.)
