Ramona Jimenez has brought many interesting and colorful items that reflect Cinco De Mayo (5th of May). It’s a celebration of the unlikely victory over the French in the battle of Puebla in the year 1862. Some of the items in the display are cascarones, which are decorated, empty eggshells filled with confetti…during the celebration, they would crack them over someone’s head!
