This month our display features 3D creations and Diamond Painting by Judy Brady. She started 3D printing by wanting to build custom cabinets for a doll house. After successfully accomplishing that, she started to make other fun things, using white filament and then painting the finished piece. It can take hours or days to create a 3D printed object.
5D Diamond Painting is sometimes explained as “cross-stitch meets paint-by-number” using five-faceted beads. The picture comes in a kit with all the supplies you need, or you can create one yourself from a favorite photo. It’s an addictive hobby.
