Using a rain barrel can save you a significant amount of money in a season. For each inch of rain that falls on 500 sq.ft. roof, you can collect 300 gallons of water to use for your houseplants, gardens and even your lawn. In this class Elizabeth Gatz, Sumner County Extension Office, will discuss and demonstrate how to make your very own rain barrel.  This event is part of the library’s Adult Summer Reading Program “Build A Better World.”
